Health Advantage is the third-party administrator for many of the medical health programs and services available to Arkansas State Employees and Public School Employees today.
Below is information regarding Medical Management Programs available through ARBenefits, many of which are administered by Health Advantage. Members can find more information regarding additional resources offered by Health Advantage at the link below.
Medical Management Programs
Chronic Condition Management
If you have one of the conditions listed below, you are eligible for the Nurse Coaching program. When you enroll, you will work one-to-one with an Arkansas-based Nurse Coach at no cost to you.
• Asthma
• Coronary Artery Disease
• Congestive Heart Failure
• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
• Diabetes
• Chronic Pain
• High Cholesterol
• High Blood Pressure
• Chronic Kidney Disease

Special Delivery (Maternity Program)
If you or your dependent is pregnant, you can take advantage of one-to-one support from a Registered Nurse who will help you achieve a healthy pregnancy. Even if you aren’t a first-time mom, your nurse can help you through the changes that come with each unique pregnancy.
The program is available to you at no cost and you may register up to 20 weeks gestation. A $250.00 check will be mailed to you once completion of the program has been verified.

Case Management
If a member has an illness or injury that’s difficult, long-term or costly, they can work with a case manager to make sure they’re getting the care they need. The case manager can help them understand treatment options and their benefit plan.
We have nurse case managers who specialize in oncology to help members who have been diagnosed with cancer.

Nurse24
Nurse24 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. When you call, you will speak directly with a nurse, who can answer health questions or help you decide if you need to see a doctor or go to the emergency room.

Employee Assistance Program – EAP
Your EAP is designed to provide short-term counseling services to help you and your family handle concerns constructively before they become major issues.
