DHS DEP CHIEF PROCUREMENT OFFICER
The Department of Human Services (DHS) Deputy Chief Procurement Officer is responsible for assisting the Chief Procurement Office in the legal administration of all contracts, grants, and purchase orders related to the management structure for all divisions and support offices, in addition to operations of the DHS vehicle fleet, mailroom, print shop, and warehouse. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.

Typical Functions:
Supervises development of solicitations and administrative compliance monitoring as well as conventional and electronic archiving for contracts and sub-grants.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
Knowledge of the Arkansas Administrative Statewide Information System.
Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in business administration or systems management, or a related field with four (4) years of progressively advanced supervisory experience.
